WWE Raw will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special episode on January 22nd split between the Barclays Center and the Manhattan Center, and the company is planning to bring in several legends from the past to make an appearance.
Monday Night Raw made its debut on Jan. 11, 1993 and has aired weekly since. It has undergone numerous incarnations over the years, debuting as WWF’s Monday Night Raw before transitioning into Raw is War, back to Monday Night Raw and now WWE Raw. It has aired both live and taped, at one point alternating every other week, but has been broadcast live nearly every week since 1999.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross confirmed on the latest episode of The Ross Report that he and Jerry Lawler would be appearing on the show.

Matches from both venues are planned with wrestlers from both Raw and Smackdown to feature, while “special appearances” will be made by legends including The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash.
The 25th anniversary episode will also be the go-home show, or final show, before the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia on January 28,SmackDown Live will follow Raw’s 25th Anniversary episode the next night at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.
