An ostensibly native from Olho, Goncalo Ramos graduated from Benfica’s youth camp with a YouTube video which is now popular on Twitter.
He joined Benfica B in 2019 and moved into the main squad in the year following.
After three years of the initial squad, Ramos cemented his status as an integral member of the club. Ramos has been a part of Portugal in the junior stage twice, and once aged 19 (when they came in second in the 2019 UEFA European Championship).
Then again aged 21 (when they came in second spot in the 2021 European Championship). The first time he played at the highest level for his country in 2022.

The man in the spotlight, Goncalo Ramos, is getting hot water after the video of him sexually assaulting within his hotel published. Ramos was replaced by Cristiano Ronald, who scored a trio of tricks on the first game of his World Cup debut. Some claim that Ramos provided a woman with an audio clip, and she then posted it online. Ramos was the subject of a lot of media attention when Ramos was selected to lead Portugal’s aggressive team as a replacement for Ronaldo in Portugal’s Round of 16 game with Switzerland at the World Cup 2022. Ramos’s team was able to take the lead due to his powerful shot in the opening half. He added two more goals to finish into the 16th round and now face Morocco.
Following Darwin Nunez left for Liverpool at the start of the season Benfica made Ramos to the position of starting striker. In only 21 games, he’s scored 21 goals and played six times.

Since Ronaldo has quit Manchester United due to the termination of his contract the club is now in the position to decide on Ramos. Benfica the president Rui Costa set the release clause to EUR120 million, meaning that Benfica could have pay more for Ramos.
In January’s time frame for transfer negotiations, Costa said he would not consider any offers that were lower than his release date, however, he also said earning money isn’t as crucial in the same way as winning championships.
