Jay Briscoe’s funeral time was confirmed last week after his death.
The world of wrestling was shocked when it was announced that Briscoe, the Ring of Honor veteran has passed away. The veteran died in a heartbreaking automobile accident that also witnessed the death of another driver as well as the hospitalization for Briscoe’s daughters. The family has since been stabilized and are recuperating of their wounds.
A candlelight vigil took place for Briscoe this Wednesday this week at the Lee Elliott Worship Center in Laurel Deleware. The funeral for him is scheduled for this weekend, on Sunday the 29thof January, at Laurel High School, the school where he was a student. The visitation period is from noon until 11:30 pm, after the funeral will begin with a private funeral.
Jay was honored at the upcoming AEW Dynamite, as his brother made his debut on the event during the main show. Mark Briscoe won the bout against Jay Lethal to a roaring applause and dedicated the victory for his younger brother.
