After the song was released, there was a rumor that Liam had cheated on Miley during their marriage with 14 other women. These rumours were disproven by Miley in a series tweets, shortly after their first divorce in 2019.

Many people were shocked to discover that Liam had been unfaithful with so many women and so many times. It is still scandalous, but it is misinformation.
Rumours circulated that Miley and Liam had cheated when they split in 2019. Miley took to Twitter to clarify the situation. The star tweeted, “But the truth was once Liam and I reconciled it, I meant that & I was committed. There are no secrets here.
Miley continued to tweet, “I can admit a lot of stuff but I refuse to acknowledge that my marriage ended due to cheating.” Liam and me have been together for over a decade. It’s something I have said before and it still holds true: I love Liam.

They added that they were both constantly evolving and changing as individuals and partners, and decided that this was the best way to focus their careers and lives. While they are still committed parents to their pets, they also love each other. Miley has been spotted in Italy kissing reality TV Star Kaitlynn.
Miley has now addressed the split publically and denied any rumors of her cheating with Kaitlynn.
Miley posted a series tweets saying: “I can accept the fact that the life I have chosen requires me to live openly and transparently with my fans, who I love, as well as the public, 100% of all the time.” I can’t accept being told that I am lying to cover up an offense I didn’t commit.
