Maegan Hall, a married Tennessee cop was fired recently after she had an affair with six other officers from the La Vergne Police Department.
Sergeant Lewis Powell and Sergeant Ty McGowan were the other officers to be fired along with Hall.
For their part in the scandal, officers Patrick Magliocco and Larry Holladay were both suspended.
The investigation into these alleged affairs started on December 12, after La Vergne Mayor Jason Cole received details from a whistleblower. He asked Andrew Patton, the city’s Human Resource Director, to investigate the matter.
An investigation revealed that officers on the second shift had undisclosed relationships with one another, exchanged inappropriate photos, videos, and had intimate encounters at the station while on duty.
According to the report, some encounters took place at officers’ football watch parties. They discussed with Maegan Hall private activities and how they could involve their wives.
Private encounters were also allegedly held at a shift party at an NFL game, and in a hotel after a Go Kart USA outing. Officer Maegan H. was accused of stripping during an alleged “hot tub party” at Sergeant Eric Staats’ houseboat.
Although Staats wasn’t directly involved in the scandal Hall was charged with having an additional alleged private encounter in the bathroom of Hall’s boat.
Mayor Cole stated that the situation was unacceptable and that he had ordered that all involved officers be disciplined following the conclusion of the investigation on December 28.
CBS reported that Chief Burrel Davis, LVPD Police Officer, said that the situation was “difficult,” but he wanted to assure the public that only a handful of officers does not represent the entire department.
Kara Hobbs, La Vergne Alderman, stated to WTVF she was shocked and “overall disappointed” by the circumstances. She said that the authorities would need to rebuild the trust in the community.
Nevertheless, the Rutherford County district attorney confirmed that there was no evidence of any criminal activity.
Maegan Hall has married her college sweetheart.
Maegan Hall was a former officer at the La Vergne police department. After having an affair with six of her colleagues on and off duty, she was fired from her job.
Hall is married to Jedidiah, a former state park ranger and also the son of an pastor. Hall was reportedly in an open marriage to Jedidiah, a former state park ranger, and her husband looked unhappy after seeing Amy Magliocco, a former kis*ing officer, at a party.
According to Daily Mail, Jedidiah Hall and Maegan were college sweethearts who tied the knot in November 2018. In March 2018, the couple bought their first home together in Manchester.
An internal investigation has revealed that Hall tried to include her husband in her trysts but the latter “wasn’t on board”. However, Jedidiah stood by his wife during the ongoing controversy.
According to the Daily Mail, Jedidiah’s boss in Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin said that the former tried to save his marriage to Hall despite the scandal.
According to the publication Maegan Hall was born in rural Tennessee and had dreams of being an actress. She ended up becoming a law enforcer in her 20s, and she worked the second shift before being banned from the role.
Chief Davis congratulated Officer Maegan Hall for being sworn in today.
Some colleagues expressed concern about Hall’s drinking habits and mental health. According to investigation reports, Magliocco claims that Hall unloaded her weapon once and dry-fired the gun at Hall’s head so she could hear how it sounded.
Magliocco reported that Maegan Hall had allegedly expressed “harmful thoughts” on several occasions. He also claimed that Hall “shouldn’t be alone.”
Hall was described as a “petite blonde” and a “baby face” and was well-known for her heavy tattoos on her TikTok accounts. The scandal led to Hall being photographed smiling as she walked her dog near her marital home in a t-shirt and sweat pants.
Later, she was seen changing into a flannel top and jeans and heading to a nearby bar. She reportedly spent several hours with a stack paper and a vape pen.
Maegan Hall spoke with The Daily Mail also for the first time after the controversy. She said she wasn’t interested in discussing it and was focusing on moving on and living her life.
