Who was Travis Alexander?
Travis Alexander was born on July 28, 1977 in Riverside, California. His father was Gary David Alexander, and his mother Pamela Elizabeth Morgan Alexander.
Alexander was a motivational speaker, and a salesman at Pre-Paid Legal Services. Travis lived in Mesa, Arizona in an apartment. Travis met Jodi Arias in September 2006. She eventually became his girlfriend. Travis was 29 years old at the time and Jodi 26 years.
The couple had a wonderful romantic relationship at first. But, things changed quickly when Jodi became obsessed with Travis. This led to their separation just five months after they began their relationship. They had an intimate relationship and still met up even though they had split.
How did Travis Alexander die?
Travis’s life was tragically cut short by his death in his Mesa apartment, June 9, 2008. According to an autopsy report Travis Alexander was brutally stabbed 27 more times, had a slit throat, and had a bullet wound to his head. He died in an unimaginable and terrifying manner.
Later, it was revealed that his ex-girlfriend Jodi Arias had murdered him in his apartment in cold blood. Jodi Arias, a former girlfriend of Travis Alexander was arrested on July 15, 2008.
The jury members sentenced Jodi to life imprisonment, with no possibility of parole. Jodi Arias currently resides at the Arizona Department of Corrections located at the Arizona State Prison Complex, Perryville.
