India will host the upcoming ODI Cricket World Cup from October 5 to November 19. Ten teams are going to participate in the mega event. The concern is about the injuries before the World Cup. Almost every team is facing unexpected injury concerns. Pakistan’s Naseem Shah, Australia’s Travis Head, South Africa’s Anrich Nortje, and New Zealand’s Tim Southee are the key players for their respective teams. Pakistan Pacer Naseem Shah Is Ruled Out Due to Shoulder Injury

According to PCB officials, the right arm pacer Naseem Shah will miss the action for almost three to four months. He has been carrying a shoulder injury that happened in the Pak vs. Ban match in the Asia Cup 2023 while fielding at the 3rd man boundary. He was trying to stop a boundary and, in the process, got himself injured. It was a great setback for the Pakistan cricket team before the ICC World Cup 2023. Pakistan will miss his bowling. Hassan Ali has replaced him.

Anrich Nortje Has Been Ruled Out Due to Stress Fracture

Anrich Nortje the South African fast bowler will miss the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 due to Stress Fracture. South Africa always started ICC events as a favorite tag but couldn’t make it to the final. According to the sources, he has fractured his thumb while going for a catch against England on Friday. He will be under surgery, but his inclusion in the World Cup squad will depend on his fitness. If he recovers timely, he will be the automatic selection. Remember that the deadline for submitting a 15-member squad for the World Cup is September 28.
